Sorrento’s Village pizzeria and restaurant, located at 2318 N. Mannheim Road in unincorporated Leyden Township, has been a part of the Gazzano clan for nearly 45 years and just about every member of the family has played some role in its operation at one time or another.

Mother, father, brothers, sisters, wives, husbands, kids and grandchildren all have been active in working to continue the Sorrento’s tradition of fresh, home cooking in a friendly atmosphere.

Father Nick Gazzano started the business as a store front pizzeria that now has grown into three rooms with seating for 300 and a wide variety menu. The business now is run by the Gazzano sons, Frank, Sam, and Russ, along with help from daughter Nora, mother Frances and, of course, an abundance of other family members.
